My hand was still out waiting for Lothar to give me his bow. He said why? I told him because he shot Fei’yin. He said that was not good enough. I told him to then leave, to which he responded he will not leave without his friend. I told him to take his friend and leave. Then Haacker stood and said that no one will leave and no one will take any weapons away. He then explains to Lothar that if he shoots another party member again he will face death. I added to what Haacker said reminding that if Lothar shoots a party member again I will make sure he dies.

Then our attention turned to the prisoner. Haacker had started to question his motives and intentions. I walked away and cast a divine spell one that covers me in truth. Then I approached the prisoner and told him that I want to know where he was going. He shook his head and he twisted and tried to say something but he could not lie. Master dwarf took this opportunity to intimidate him, and it work quite well. He started to tell us everything including the fact that he was not going to the king.

I asked him where was he going, and he said that he can not say where he was going. Otherwise he would be killed, he finally let go and said he would tell me. He told me that they were going to the wizard tower Ioroch. And that now he throws his lot in with us. As promised I told him I would release him. The master dwarf did not want to untie him and so we argued.

Dwarves are a hearty bunch and they can make the blood boil with their ways. I took to the skies and went to camp somewhere else in the trees. I then return the morning and talked with Fei’yin. More arguing followed and we were left at a crossroad as to whether to accompany the dwarf or not.

More arguing followed as we can not come to an agreement. Eventually we decided to go our separate ways. Have I mention that dwarves really can get under my feathers at times? They are so irrationally and I can not seem to get through to them. I told the Master dwarf to please wait while Fei’yin and I went and consulted the matters.

Cepler told us that it was going to be hard going with the dwarf. He also told us that it would be very bad that if we go to the tomb. I wanted to ask him about the Elvin king but I could no longer ask.

I went back to the dwarf and told him that we would accompany them to the dwarven king. I also told him to free the prisoner. Lothar objected but I ignored him. The dwarf told Lothar to get a little you have to give a little. He then gave me his dagger to free the prisoner.

We walked for some time and then an arrow shot at Lothar’s foot. It was the Elf leader Theo; he told us that one of the diplomatic has been tracking us. He said that it was a shape shifter and while he was tracking it as it tracked us, it eluding him.

We had watch later that night and when Fei’yin awoke me and told me that Vorath was evil. I told him that we shall deal with it later. He was adamant that we had to watch him. I assure him that we will watch and deal with it later.

During my watched I asked Cepler to bless my eyes with special sight. I detected that mostly everyone had magic about on them. Weapons and armor, this was ok I was just curious. I really was hoping that it would tell me whether Vorath was magical himself, alas it did not.

Later that day, we heard a creature come out of the forest. He had dark stone type skin weapons were in hand. Two huge warhammer, were in his hands. I spoke in dwarven, common, Elvin, greeting him. He finally spoke and said who has the box.

I played ignorant as to this box he spoke of. The creature took a deep breath and then cast his gaze on me. He then said give me the box and I tried to reason with it. Haacker was itching to fight because he didn’t trust it. For once I and the dwarf were in agreement.

The creature said they will not give it to us. Another one appeared with a glaive and I felt and attack was going to happen. They spit out something and a green mist appeared. It burned and nearly caused me harm. Before I knew it I was being hit by a glaive. Haacker then bulrushes the creature and knocked it back. I took to the skies and the other one jump up and pound me with the warhammer. I was in so much pain and could not sustain flight.

Haacker bashed one and Lothar unleashed arrows. Within minutes the creatures were destroyed. I then knew that as long as we held the box our lives were in danger.

The next night during my watch I saw vile creatures. There were three of them and they were demons. I went to wake Lothar but the demons surrounded me. I yelled for Cepler to keep them back and the lights from the heavens shined down upon me.

The vile creatures attacked before the others could respond. Killing Ussars and wounded me severely. Before I knew what transpired everything went dark as I lost consciousness. I awoke in pain; I had the pleasure to stare one of the demons in the face. I noticed Fei’yin was near me, and although I am not sure I believe he healed my wounds. I reached in my sash and pulled out a flask of blessed water and smashed it into the creatures face. It screamed out in pain and died.

I arose to my feet and saw Haacker fighting the other two demons. I must say that on this day these men, be they human, dwarf, half, and even a horse, fought with such valor. I tried to heal Haacker but I was unable to do a good enough job.

Haacker and Fei’yin’s horse killed another demon. The last one grabbed the box and disappeared before anyone can react. We all stood there and said nothing. I tended to the wounded but my heart was heavy. I had a special prayer this day, that Cepler will enhance me and give me more strength to do what is required of me.

We rested for two and a half days and on the second night we were all awaken by the half Vorath screaming that it was Lung who stole the items. I notice that as he screamed his clothes did not seem right. It was at this point I asked Haacker for a word and took him off the side and told him that Vorath is evil. I believe him to be a shape shifter but I have no solid proof. I dare not accuse him while Lothar is present or more hostilities may erupt. That morning we discuss what our next course of action should be. It was then that we decided that we should seek out this Lung and retrieve the box.

Lothar created a whistle arrow to signal the cousins from the forest. A few hours later they appeared intrigued at our presence. The dwarf showed them the amulet from the oracle and that seem the pacify them. I asked them to take us to Lung so that we may be able to retrieve what is ours.

He agreed to lead us to Lung’s tower and informed us that it would be a four day journey. It is at this point I am somewhat relieve that I will be able to redeem myself. What keeps nagging at me is why the box is so important to Lung and the other creatures.
