Game Date: 12/05/20
The players made their way to the Capitol to seek passage on a ship for their next mission.
Unfortunately the ship was not in port and it would be a little over a week before it returns and set sail. My players use this time to handle some affairs while in the capitol.
It just so happens the party was in time for the Feast of Legends. A holiday where people share a meal and tale stories of heroic deeds. The party was invited to a home by two children a brother and sister.
The brother song for the party at dinner:
In the middle of the night the children visit the party and asked them to help their friend the Gingerbread man.
The party is then whisked away to a forest for where the Gingerbread man is running from them only to be attacked by a wolf. The party of course tries to capture the Gingerbread man and defend it from the wolf. Only to find out that when they get close to the Gingerbread man his sweet aroma of molasse made them want to eat it. Of course when the wolf needed help a forest yeti came to help (the Grinch).
Here are a few highlights
- A holiday them with a twist on the gingerbread man
- Chance for the player to tell a story about past adventure
low points
- Still struggle with game flow with so many players
- always seem like the game time goes by so fast
I left a holiday theme on the roll20 landing page for my players as I wanted the holiday season to last a little while longer.
