It always happens, your playing a great game and then the GM utters these words:
- How many hit points do you have?
- What is your passive perception?
- Let me see your character sheet.
- Yay! I rolled a twenty!
- Hrmmm that’s not good.
- I messed up, these guys are way to powerful.
- Make a saving throw versus death.
- You are not really attached to your character are you?
- What is your armor class?
- Does a twenty hit?
- Roll initiative
- This game just got real!
- You should have moved.
- Did you just roll a 1?
- Hold that thought.
- You feel the icy hand of death
- This is a surprise round, my guys go first.
- They attack you again.
- The icy hand of death caresses you again.
- I never did a full party wipe before.
- Most of the party is unconscious and bleeding out.
- You have succumbed to your wounds.
- You guys will need a healer for this campaign.
- We are ready for combat.
- You rolled a 2…(laughs)
- I think that’s a critical.
- Did I skip you?
- I have special rules for critical hits.
- You are about to find out what happens.
- Are you sure you want to do that?
- I need to speak with you in private.
- I can do things from a distance.
- I will give you a reroll because bad stuff could happen.
- Oh that’s nice for me.
- That save check is higher now!
- This is a little gruesome…
- There is no treasure.
- I haven’t seen that one before.
- Your not a elf are you?
- That is awesome, awesome for me anyway.
- Oh wow I get to roll this many dice for damage.
- The main bad guy does not like your character.
- Let’s see what happens.
